Could someone tell me where the saved games are stored,

In your My Documents folder you will find a folder called Bioware - they are in there If you go in that folder you will find a Dragon Age folder. Open that folder and then the Characters folder. There will be a list of folders with your characters names. Each one contains the save games for that particular character.
