Difficulty in Regards to Origin.

Currently I'm on my third playthrough, though this time I'm soloing on hard difficulty as a Dwarf Noble warrior and so far I'm enjoying it the most.
I'm having a pretty easy time, especially because all of "benefits" the the origin gets.
SPOILER:
Gorim, your second in the origin story becomes a merchant in Denerim who will buy all of your items for double the cost. Also, he will give you the Aeducan Family Shield, which is one of the best shields in the game.
I'm pretty sure that he doesn't do this for everyone, but nonetheless, it makes the game much easier. By the time I hit ten I already had Spellward, Anduril's Coil, Knight Commander's Plate as well as several hundred health poultices.
What are your experiences with these origins? Which was your favorite? Which do you feel had the best "confrontation"? Which was the most fun to play? Which the easiest and hardest to play?

I've wondered about the Dwarf race.. I know it can't enter the Fade, but does your dwarf get the attribute bonuses, or is it the character entering the Fade? If it's the latter I'd be less tempted to play one.

Well, the game said that dwarves are the only race that doesn't enter the Fade when they dream, however it does not mention anything about being "forced" to enter the Fade.
My character was able to enter the Fade within the Circle Tower and recieve the attribute bonuses.

My Most Favourites:
Human Noble Played as Warrior
City Elf, played as Rogue
I played both as Female. City Elf Origin plays differently depending on gender, and one choice may effect landsmeet.
Spoiler:
Human Noble gives the Option to Marry Alistair (And be Queen) or Anora (and be King). Fergus will appear at the end. Can have entire Howe family disgraced and removed from nobility. It'll stick. Howe has different Dialogues before his final fight. For females, it's a jab at you playing the man.
City Elf differences: Alienage Troubles: Cyrion is in the Cages, and the Elder was taken to Tervintum before you can intervene. Cyrion, if allowed to live, will give you a dagger called the Fang, once owned by the PC's mother when you return home. It's a nice dagger, so I suggest getting it. Shianni wants you to come back and get Drunk with her after everything is done, for some proper catching up.
Landsmeet: If you killed Vaughan at the end of the Origin story, he quite obviously won't be present and voting. As he will vote against Loghain if asked before freeing him, whether gutting him for raping Shianni is debatable.
Defending the Alienage: In all other origins Shianni will run if told to. In City ELf, she resists. If you insist, tho (no persuasion/intimidation check), she will withdraw the Elves (all archers), but you won't risk family against an Ogre and the General.
Endgame Option: PC Survive (EIther thru Ritual or Loghain/Alistair Sacrifice): Can be named Bann of the Elves, or have Cyrion/Shianni so named, if you ask the Ruler to have the elves treated fairly for once.
PC Gave Ultimate Sacrifice: Bann of the Elves is automatically Chosen. I've heard tales of Shianni given this, but for me it was Cyrion (PC's Father).

My first solo then will be Rogue Dwarf Noble.. :mischief:

My favorite origin story was, by far, Dwarf Noble. Having played the game previously I know what to expect, but that didn't make the "big moment" any less infuriating. And I loved Gorim.
I admit that I wasn't impressed by Dalish Elf, Human Noble, or Mage. None of them really held a candle to the writing of the dwarven origins, in my opinion.
I will admit that I liked one thing about City Elf:
You get to try and pick a fight with Duncan, and Cailan's reaction when you tell him you murdered the arl's son was brilliant.

I personally felt that the Mage and Human Noble origin stories had very little confrontation. I was kind of disappointed that all I got out of Howe was just a few lines of badmouthing and nothing else.
I felt that the Dwarf Noble origin was the most interesting by far. The other two I played seemed kind of bland and it wasn't hard to predict as to what would happen in the end.

from my favorite to the least liked was
dwarf noble, dalish elf, dwaf commoner, city elf, human noble, magi
the dwarven noble its the best written, dalish elf although blank and superficial was likeable in my taste. the magi origin is the most painful to me it makes me NOT want to play the wizard class.
