According to the walkthrough, in 1.4 (which I'm running) and 1.5 (which is the CE, right?) Galdryn's Horn is a wearable trinket. Well, I got no such trinket from the Catacombs, it only shows in Invoke.

So, is it not until later, after taking it to Emmindor or some such, that I get to use it as a trinket, or perhaps did I need to start a new game after patching to 1.4 (I think I started this game when still 1.0), or is it some bug or something else I'm missing?

Or is the walkthrough incorrect in stating that it is a trinket, which is supported by the fact that the link to the equipment version of it returns a page saying that it doesn't exist?

It is possible that you need to restart since you've updated the game, although it doesn't really make sense that an item's properties are contained in the save file instead of the game's source file. So, maybe it is also possible that the game didn't actually upgrade to 1.4, and you are still running 1.0?

Anyway, I can say for certain (playing the CE) that Galdryn's Horn is a trinket that may be equipped.
