Greetings mod

I found a mod that adds greetings to NPC's based on faction or guild alignment. There are greetings that were included in the game but not used. Does the Unofficial Morrowind Patch restore them as well?

I don't want redundant mods in my game.

Could you provide a link to the mod, or at least a few samples of what's included?

It is called VGreetings..
VGreetings - Enables Tribunal's new faction/rank greetings for characters in original areas; also includes many related fixes and previously unused voice samples in all sections
hiredgoons.net - HG Morrowind Gateway

or
Felix's Voice and Greetings v0.96
Enables greetings, sounds and responses that were shipped with the game, but not used. Six esp versions.
Empirical Morrowind

It just seems like one of the first things a 'general' morrowind patch would cover.

It's been years, but I seem to recall that the stuff found in VGreetings was long ago included one of the "unofficial official" mods. I'm sure of it, in fact.

Well.. I suppose I'll see in time if it was included.

I want to thank you for suggesting Mlox to me. Cool toy. It pointed out all kinds of interesting mod issues to me that I managed to easily resolve with the given solutions.

As a matter of fact, it reported that the VGreetings mod was indeed included in another patch project that I hadn't yet included. So I installed that one instead. Your hunch was right on the money. :)
