I think I broke my game

I have a lot of npc mods, the Undying, Branwen, Rylorn, Saerlith, Beyond the Law as well as divine remix and G3 tweakpack. No I was playing a game with Ninafer from the Undying and had picked up the Beyond the Law duo and when I go to the Temple district to purloin the statue from the Priestess the game crashes. Now I had just re installed the Divine remix because something was missing, or I had an old version, then I re installed the Tweakpack. So I figured I had corrupted the game, didn't matter what save I pulled up if I went to the Temple district:Crash. So I brought up some other old games went to the Temple district and no problem. Restarted the game, imported my PC, picked up the same npc's and went to the temple district as soon as I hit the city and Crash. So I figure that game is corrupted by me messing with the mods and go to pick up a Saerlith game I never finished, was in spellhold, did some things, got back to Brynlaw, got on a boat, got to the fish people city, did some more things went to the underdark and guess what. After a Immy Saerlith dialog: crash.
So my question is can I save this in some way or do I have to clean everything out do a clean install and add the mods back in and play with only one or two npc mods at a time?

1. I am no expert, but have CTD-ed a few games because of mods, I fear you need to uninstall, wipe everything, reinstall and then reinstall the mods in the correct order and checking for compatability first. I discuss that and what mods are compatible as well as install order somewhere else (here and here).

2. Please consider your layout in the future, I could hardly follow what you write and I am no angel myself...

Good luck.

Sorry for my rambling prose, but the evil of mod incompatibility got a generous butt kicking last night. So here is a summary:

- HR (me) happily playing BG2 with many mods in place

- noticed an upgrade to the Divine Remix and downloaded it, then reloaded the G3 Tweak pack as I know that has to go on last

-chaos ensues of a really evil type, games freeze all over the place.

-stripped all the mods off one by one and some of the saved games started working

- loaded the G# fixpack which I did not have before, most saved games still work

- loaded some npc mods back one by one Branwen, Ajantis, Saerlith and the Undying testing the saved games one by one and and after I reload the Undying all the saved games work.

-left out Rylorn and Beyond the Law for now as I was more interested in the other two.

-reloaded Divine Remix and retested the saved games

-reloaded the G3 Tweakpack and it worked. Hamsters and Rangers everywhere Rejoice! It is all good and all the saved games are working.

-Lesson, although I will have to play with it on my back up machine is that there maybe an incompatibility between the Undying and Beyond the Law as the problems started when I had a party with some NPC's from both mods, or when I updated the Divine remix I should have uninstalled the tweakpack then the old divine remix then reload both. I'll let you know what the test machine reveals.

I do not remembar how it is with other modders, but on the G3 Forum they list their mods and what they are compatible with as well as what they are not compatible with.

Most do but just because Mod A is compatible with Mod B and Mod C does not always mean that Mod A+B+C is compatible.

I believe G3 lists that as well, it is the most comprehensive list I have seen on any modding site.
