Can somebody explain? OT

Why is there some chick done up in a sort of pseudo-fantasy bikini with blinking bosom and the text "Come play my lord" in my Left banner here? Who on earth does that catch the interest off?

Skirting a warning, but the absurdity of it just struck me.

Seriously, her bosom blinks in neon blue:speech: I would run away no matter how pretty she was...

1. You might want to try this one in SYM. :) There's even a topic going on Second Life hookers and the ins and outs of virtual sex atm so it should slot in nicely - I'm sure Fable will move this thread there if you ask him really nicely and promise to stay off his lawn.
2. For my part I assume it's for the benefit of either net-savvy baboons or advertisers. Then again, Viconia had a blue bosom and she seems pretty popular, so who knows?
3. If you've never slept with a gung-ho sword-swinging/bow-shooting warrior woman who wears metallic underwear you're totally missing out - just be careful playing with knives around delicate areas.

Well Odie, what you do not know is that I am a Danish viking fighting re-enactor, and womaniser when single, so I do know and have slept with warrior women (though I mostly stay away from fellow fighters as they are more brothers-in-arms than objects for my pursuit). They are no different than anyone else, as for the metallic underwear- it is uncomfortable to say the least. contrary to belief, chainmail is not nice and soft. It is created to be the opposite...

As for moving the thread, the BG (and sometimes IWD) forums are the only ones I visit. So I would rather keep it, I was mostly intrigued at the absurdity of that add. Not just blue, they were in fact skin-coloured- but blinking neon-light-like blue. Imagine turning the lights of to enjoy your woman in candlelight and the bedroom/tent/whereever gets lit up by flashing neon sign light from her bosom! Perhaps she grew up in a certain place in Ukraine, Tjernobyl (sp?)...

Fable, please don't be too harsh with us being so far off topic :o

Edar, I am a historical re-enactor as well (or I try to be at least...). You are aware that the 1000th anniversary of the Battle of Clontarf is only 4 years away, yes? Do you belong to a group or are you the loner type?

Not sure how I missed this, but I've been exceptionally busy, lately with work. In any case, this really doesn't fit into BG2, but it most certainly does fit into SYM, where the idea of DW in a fantasy bikini or CE in a catsuit has been considered, before.

I left out, "considered at length," because I'm developing a vein of subtlety in my wizened old age.

LOL! :D

@Xan: Nice link. I was amused.

In the past, Politically Correct (PC) lingo gave us innovative ways to breathe life into what were otherwise droll, boring descriptions. At least, that's the way I view it anyway. Turn the misfortune of others into opportunity, I say. ;)

Translated into everyday speech: new ways to take potshots at folks. :mischief:

Take, for instance, Tractor Pulls. PC descriptive: entertainment for the dentally challenged. ;)

Professional Wresting: entertainment for the mentally challenged. :speech:

American Idol: ...eh, I suppose if I go there, I will be lynched. I don't have a decent life insurance policy yet, so my wife might be a tad bit upset over that. :p

Now, enter Evony. Entertainment for the utterly challenged.
