"Right, you an' me, let's go!"
"I can break an arm or a leg fer a copper or two."
"First the memory, then the memory OF the memory, and then NOTHING."
"Or perhaps not? Scared you did I? Fear will keep you honest."
"The deed is done, and the scourge is purged."
Bonus points for naming the people responsible for the last three...

"First the memory, then the memory OF the memory, and then NOTHING."
Irenicus talking with Ellesime.
"Or perhaps not? Scared you did I? Fear will keep you honest."
Renal Bloodscalp. My favourite too
"The deed is done, and the scourge is purged."
Meh, don't remember this one...
"Know this as you die ever pathetic, ever fools"
"You want Yakman to sleep? Yakman never sleep!"
"The obvious answer would be 'from an elephant'"

That sounds like Irenicus. One of the dream sequences?
"You want Yakman to sleep? Yakman never sleep!"
Um...Yakman?
"The obvious answer would be 'from an elephant'"
Sounds like Jan.
My favorite line, BY FAR...
"Madam, you are a ravening ditch-pig"

I grows tired of yelling battle cries when fighting this mage! Boo will finish your eyeballs once and for all so he does not rise again! EVIL, MEET MY SWORD! SWORD, MEET EVIL!!!!
- Minsc
Those who stand in my way shall fall.
- The PC
You want to know what I always say? "Always kill the mouthy one," that's what I always say.
- The PC, BG1
Sorry, Aldeth, but we're siding with the druids. They have this great Aloe-Vera balm they are giving away samples of, and my armor has been chafing a bit, ya know?

"The obvious answer would be 'from an elephant'." - Storekeep in the Marchants Square section of the Bridge District.
"Boo will have clean woodshavings you BASTARDS!" - Also one of my favourites.
"An excellent day for WHATEVER you're after." Gotta love those shadow thieves.
LOL, some of the BG1 quotes are so ridiculous. They definately decided to turn down the sarcasm for BG2 didn't they.

I was just reading the Lilacor quotes and some of them really crack me up. Never used the sword for any extended period of time so I've missed most of these:
* My brother's a +12 Hackmaster!
* Hands up, kiddies, who wants to die?
* YOINK!!! Got your nose!
* Swish! Hot butta!
* I refuse to answer any more questions until I'm cleaned and polished thoroughly.
* Listen beefy, I may be an intelligent sword, but I've had no formal edjumacation.
* And that's for grandma, who said I'd never amount to anything more than a butterknife!
* I don't know what you have expected, but as a sword I'm pretty one-dimensional in what I waaant!!!
* I don't chop wood, OK? I'm not an axe!

Actually, that was Mae'Var. Man, i'm a BG nerd
.
Basically any Irenicus-line is great. The actor who provides his voice in the polish version is amazing. And so is the actress who does Viconia - the only reason to take her along, actually.
Some of my favourite lines:
"Helm sees everything, knows everything and judges everything"
"I serve my mistress, and nobody else"
"You should not have came here"

Are we getting a bit parched for still interesting Baldur's Gate topics?

"For someone who supposedly has her soul tainted by the evil of a dead god, you remind me considerably of a chipmunk with a suger high and a death wish."
Freaking hilarious.
"What ye obtain to cheaply, ye esteem too lightly."
How often do you get words of wisdom in a computer game?

"Actually we don't have the book. Aren't you the fool."
- the PC
"You no bother now, me eat. We fight after me fat-happy."
- Ogre
"Hi folks, welcome to Lucky Aello's, where the prices are so low there's gotta be something wrong. Nobody sells it lower than me, because nobody buys it cheaper. If you can find a price lower than mine this side of Calimshan the item will probably kill you. What can I get for you? "

Just right now my PC said one of the funniest lines in ToB:

This one seems straight-forward but it really resonates with me. Now that I know what to do with liches, they are pretty easy. But the first time I played the game and opened my first sarcophagi and heard those words...they way they are eerily delivered, I got the chills.
I was like "what is this weird little jiggly dude wearing the tribal robes up to?"
[a few seconds later RPGguy thinks to himself...]
"Wow, that was really neat watching my party get splattered on the walls like that. Oh, goody...he just gated in a demon that's coming to rip my arms off. Forgot to cast 'Resist Fear' on myself so I guess I'll just run around aimlessly".

Any five lines spoken by David Warner (aka Jon Irenicus) are the five best in game
"I... I do not remember your love, Ellesime. I have tried to. I have tried to recreate it, to spark it anew in my memory. But it is gone... a hollow, dead thing. For years, I clung to the memory of it. Then the memory of the memory. And then nothing. The Seldarine took that from me, too. I look upon you and I feel nothing. I remember nothing but you turning your back on me, along with all the others. Once my thirst for power was everything. And now I hunger only for revenge. And... I... Will... HAVE IT!!"
Jon Irenicus, THE game villain.
Epic conversation between Jon and Ellesime
"You're Irenicus, and all that awaits you now is death" Ellesime

Another Lilacor, lilacor and Minsc... best inane-rage combo ever.

Depends what version you choose during install. I chose the hardest non-cheese one and Kangaax is much-much-much harder than he was before. The others marginally less so, but only marginally.

"I hate those money grubbin scum" Merchant, can't remember the first part of it.
"Hey, sexy. Do you want to take a look at me t!tt!es"?
The in the back ground "aaahhh!!!" you hear in the inn when the pit fiend follows you up there to fight and the patrons flee.... I get tickled every time. I even said that myself the first time it followed me into the inn :speech:
"Ah... Home sweet home. Wait, I don't live here"... Jan
