Kvatch Aftermath & a few more

A couple of questions as I haven't played Obl in oh, forever and am about to pack it with some mods I have been salivating over for a while.

I am guessing some of you have played Kvatch Aftermath. It seems a more quest related, more hands on version than the Kvatch Rising one. As I haven't done either I was thinking of doing a run through with the KA, then later on perhaps enjoying the more lore-related KR with a new character (without KA of course). I would also like to go through Origins of the Mages Guild and The Elder Council in the KA run and from what I see there should be no issues.

Would KR fit more with it though?

Also regarding CURP, what has your experience been with it please? Thanks guys!

An interesting question which I can't answer, as I've only ever played Kvatch Rebuilt. Would you object to me expanding on the question and asking if anyone's played all three, and if so which they preferred?

As for CURP, what is that?

From what I understand Kvatch Aftermath is a rather large mod, which includes the ruling of the city, it's rebuilding, then upgrading, NPC who populate the city (around 300 of them), new locations, as the city expands so does the number of quests etc. There is an option of editing the NPCs with another tiny mod. Generally speaking it seems to be incredibly promising. The last versions even affect (if you want that option) Breaking the Siege of Kvatch and The Battle for Castle Kvatch quests. Kvatch Rising is more lore orientated and though you participate it is more like a helping third party from what I understood hence the question.

No, I don't mind at all, it would be lovely if someone could answer.

CURP would be a necessary component to functioning of either KA or KR, or the other mods I mentioned. Stands for Cyrodiil Upgrade Resource Pack that you download prior to mods. It is similar to Oblivion.esm, Lore friendly and contains things used in mods made by Giskard. There's an additional resource pack for download too etc.

I'll be interested to hear about your experience with it so I can look at it down the road after I finish my go-round here.

I got them all installed no problem and as I do the Kvatch quests as soon as possible I already arrived and you can tell the mod is active - there are additional voices done for some characters even in the base camp. Also, the mages mod I mentioned here is already bringing in some fun stuff. Will report how all of it turns out!
