Unfinished Business question.

Does anyone know if the Unfinished Business mods overwrite pre-existing items, and if so which ones? I'm thinking of installing it but I've altered quite a few bits and pieces with NearInfinity.
Eg.s
Most Elven Chain to be usable by pure mages and archers. Melodic chain excepted.
Jester's Chain to allow spellcasting but be bard-specific.
Natural-material armors (dragon scale and ankheg plate) to be usable by druids (apart from Shifters) and Barbarians.
Most NPC-specific weapons to be more useful so it's actually worth having characters use them throughout the game, i.e. the Sword of Arvoreen is now a mini-Purifier for my Paladinised Mazzy.
And a few other bits and pieces, like making the Dwarven Thrower simply race-specific rather than having class restrictions, so I could make a Dwarf Cleric/Archer multi with Warhammer *****, and giving the Elven Court Bow an extra attack per round while making it elf-specific.
Beyond this I've made some graphical tweaks to the Robe of Vecna so the green trim is now gold, and I've changed the Aslyferund chain so it's not that irritating yellow colour.
Basically, this all took quite a bit of time and effort for my non-computer-savvy self, and I'd like to know if I should back up my 'improved' takes on these objects before installing UB, if it'll be OK without my having to worry, or if I should just leave my already-quite-modded game as is.
The same question goes for UB for Tutu, though that should be less of a hassle since most of the items I've changed are BG2-specific and so don't show up in BG1/Tutu.
Cheers.
