Icewnd Dale soundsets for BG

Post by Quitch »

Gamers Alleigance used to have the Icewind Dale soundsets in BG format, but their site is gone now.

I've found the HoW ones over on FilePlanet, but I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a conversion of the standard IWD ones from?

I think BG and IWD use the same file format ( *.acm file).

If you have the IWD soundtrack you could have check out Teambg.com and see if they have any programs that convert acm files to wav or something.

Yes, unfortunately that's the only one I could find too, and I've been trying to connect to their FTP servers all day.

See, I wasn't that lazy. I made my own BG2 soundset for my thief from the thief2 IWD soundset (and from the DEMO TOO! I'm so NAUGHTY!). It wasn't that tough; just rename the appropriate wavs. The only difficulty lay in not actually being able to listen to the wavs as I was going along, them being in some obscure format.
