I've finished Icewind Dale now and for the first time in my life I'm playing Heart of Winter.I've exported my characters to expansion, so I didn't start in Kuldahar but in Lonelywood.I have one question - will I be able to play TotL after I beat HoW or must I finish TotL before finishing HoW?

I've met a guy in an inn that wants us to accompany him to the haunted castle, but I'd like to finish HoW first, I don't want to mix the stories up.

just to mention once again - I didn't start expansion in Kuldahar, but in Lonelywood in case that makes any difference.I've beaten Icewind dale already.

I've found the answer:

You can play TotL after HoW. Once you've finished HoW the characters are exported. Start a new HoW game and import those characters, immediately go to the Inn and let the halfling teleport you to TotL.
