Help! I just finished Garrus' loyalty mission and received my 750XP, enough to level me up to 12. The thing is, while my main character got his skill points as intended, both of my party members didn't receive any additional skill points.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Is it a bug or do they only get skill points every other level after a certain point? Any help greatly appreciated!

They are discussing the same issue, but no one seems to have a definite answer on it. Some even speculate the companions can't level up with side mission XP. It kinda seems too random to me to be intended though. Seems like the thing you'd get info on during loading screens for example. Btw. I just reached level 12.

Edit2: If you have or have not noticed odd skill point gains for your party members please do post here, whether you know the reason or not. It's unlikely to be a bug if everyone has it.

I don't know if it's a bug, and I don't think it is, but that happens once or twice. In ME1, your squad mates always got fewer skill points than you per level, and since they have fewer skills than you (three or four, depending on if they are loyal or not), so the points are not missed much.

Besides, Bioware seems to have a thing against maxing out all of your skills.

It's not a bug.
