I start the game and Imoen does her thing but irenicus says something about a feather duster and the world "a sploading" and then the game goes to a screen saying something about the world needing to be rebooted and the game goes back to the main screen..........any idea what (mod?) is doing this?

Thanks. Weidu log: link.

My history shows "imoen feather duster" yesterday and I searched for the same thing today. Kinda odd.........oh well. Thanks for finding it anyway......hopefully bg2 is as good as bg1.

It's like going moving a musical up to an opera. But chances are it is even better. ;)

Hm, I honestly have no idea what else to do. The only advise I can give you is to reinstall everything, most common/popular mods first, and then add and test every exotic one.

I usually take a couple of days to playtest new modded installations of big games like Morrowind or BG2. It might beat waiting for an answer. Lots of these mods are pretty old and their owners may not be around anymore to help.

Not yet.........he's gone for now. Do you happen to know what files are being affected by this? It looks like a standard cutscene..........I wonder if there's a way to bypass that. I've asked him, hopefully at least he knows.

Hard to believe the uninstaller looks like it removes the files and it doesn't. Oh well.

Nope. I think the Pocketplane forums might be able to help you with that.

Found how to fix it. I changed dialog.d to:

IF ~Global("G#IM8.Splode","GLOBAL",2)~ THEN BEGIN Bwaha#1.1
SAY ~Foolish girl! Didn't you see the portrait hanging on the wall with the creepy moving eyes?~
= ~I heard your every word! MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!~
++ ~Ah crap...~ EXIT
END

Appears to have bypassed that.

Thanks for your help and patience, now to begin the game for sure this time. ;)

Fantastic. I might fire it up again myself one of these days. Good luck!
