Anyone remember those guys from Kansas protesting outside military funerals with signs that read "God hates fags" and "Thank god for dead soldiers" and the like?

They hit a new low. I did not think this was possible, I -really- didn't think they could be any more evil, but they did it-

What are they smoking? And far more importantly, why are they not sharing?

These guys are just as nuts as anyone who believes in imaginary beings (God, Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy etc)

That's a really loaded statement, I seriously hope you know what you're getting into by making that kind of remark.

Most people that believe in 'imaginary beings' as you put it are relatively harmless... so long as it is the believers that are doing the talking.

The trouble with these nutjobs is not that they believe in god... but that they substitute actual thought, for concepts written in a tome put together by groups of people with political motivations and retranslated a thousand times. They then use this obfuscation of whatever truth was once there to twist any passage to fit their righteous idignation (much like the Calvinists of old.)

While I have a serious problem with organized religion as a whole, I will never fault a person for having some kind of faith especially when that faith drives them to do something genuinely good, helpful or otherwise decent for the world.

Plus, I kind of wonder if sending them to a Concentration camp would either help or hurt the kansas brigade's motivation for being Senior Political Douchebags.
