Eternal Fire shrines
Eternal Fire shrines
I started lighting the shrine candles too late in the day, i.e. after midnight, and did not get them finished before dawn because of various interruptions. Can I get more votive candles or does it really matter if I light all the shrines?
You need to light all of the shrines. AFAIK you only use a holy flame by lighting a shrine, and so you can't have less than you need. But if this is somehow the case, the first thing I'd try is talking to the Reverend again.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Eternal Fire Shrines "SPOILER"
I tried talking to the Reverend to no effect. I decided to go back to a saved game where I had all the votive candles and run quickly from one shrine to another meeting a lot of barghest and rabid dogs at each shrine. Got all the shrines lit up but it had no effect and did not solve the problem for the Reverend, He gave me 100 goens.swcarter wrote:You need to light all of the shrines. Lighting the Shrines
The whole operation must be completed during the hours of darkness, so try resting until midnight and then moving round the shrines in a clockwise manner. You will of course be attacked by the hounds, so you can either kill them or if you keep running, you will out run them and as long as you have them lit by sunrise you are home and hosed.
