Need help looking for a specific type of vampire mod.

There are dozens of vampire mods out there. I am only looking for one that will make it slightly easier for me to do quests and trade without npcs freaking out too much to talk.
I don't want to install anything that is dependent on the script extender / scripted spells (mods requiring vampire embrace or vampire hunger for example). That is the big iffy. I am running a minimalized installation of Morrowind.
Anyone encountered anything? I found [url="http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4133"]Vampire Hider[/url], which supposedly hides your vampirism while wearing a helm, but unfortunately it is bugged. Other suggestions are quite welcome.
