I was just about to get one of the components for the Crom Faeyr, and as I said in the title, Stoneskin ends up going in to some wild surge thing.

This has happened to me before, and my Mage isn't a Wild Mage either.

So what's going on?

Well usually it goes like that :

1. You're a wild mage

2. You're on the 3rd floor of WK
3. Mods (and / or conflicts between them)

From what you saying seems to be number 3.
