Party question

I currently have in my party:

Me (Fighter, 2handed sword[Lilarcor]****, Long bow**,
Keldorn[Carsomyr+5, crossbow]
Anomen[Flail of Ages, sling]
Jaheira[some club,sling]
Yoshimo[Some long sword and bow or dual wield 2 long swords]
Edwin[some staff and a dagger with the throwing option]

So my question is, which people should i swap?
I want to keep Keldorn(Carsomyr), Edwin (huge spellbook), Anomen(good fighting abilities + cleric spells)

I'm thinking I should remove Jaheira, because she is always the one just standing there doing nothing (except summoning monsters and that one time when she killed the adamantide golem with her sling, but he was near death anyway)

I don't know about Yoshimo, because his traps are useful, so i could swap him with Imoen. But if I remember correctly, she does not have all the abilities of a thief (right?).

Maybe jaheira -> Korgan or Aerie
or Yoshimo -> Jan

Thanks for your replies.

Imoen has only 7 (or less) ranks of thief and cannot progress in it, but after some point you'll have to swap Yoshimo with either Jan or Imoen anyway if you want a thief. (you'll know when the "point" comes once you get there)

I'd trade Jah or Anomen too, for Korgan. Preferably Anomen would be the one to trade. But then again i never liked Ano :)

Yeah, I'd keep Yoshimo as long as possible...

4 warriors is slightly excessive, you might find one of them to be underutilized. Aerie to replace Anomen or Jaheira might be a good idea. Personally I never use Anomen...

Keep Jaheira. She gets as many attacks as the other warriors, can protect herself with ironskins and her druid spells offer powerful options.
Clubs have short range so she first have to move around the other party members to be able to attack in melee. You could move her to 1st or second position, with iron skins and shield she should be able to last longer than Keldorn who can melee from the second row with his 2-hander.
You also have the option to use belm for the extra attack and can even dualwield with it. You can also melee with staffs or spears from the second row.
Have Edwin cast strength twice in a row on her if you don't have strength boosting equipment for her.
Even if you're too lazy to use her effectively it's still good to have some hidden power for emergencies.

Imoen can only backstab for triple damage and cannot set effective traps while Jan can do everything a pure thief can. Especially with ToB he offers far more options to the party.
If you want Imoen keep Yoshimo, if you want Jan get him ASAP.

Quick question: do you have ToB or just SoA?

I'd replace Jaheira with Aerie to give you a backup mage and cleric, and head off to rescue Imoen - with Yoshimo in your party - as soon as you can. Imoen will be behind in levels a bit so you'll want to leave a few quests for her to catch up on XP.
I'd also consider dropping Edwin and leaving your sixth party slot free for taking NPCs associated with particular quests, but that's just me.

Well i have ToB, but not installed, because last time i tried to install it, when i started the game it just froze, so i'm currently only playing SoA.

For NPC quests, i'll just let's say replace yoshimo with valygar for the quest, Jaheira for Cernd, Jaheira for Aerie etc.
Just for the quests duration.

Side note: I seem to have lost the key to Aran, which Bayle gave me. Is there any way to find it or must I CLUA it to my inventory?
