I searched but didn't see a thread on this, but my apologies if I missed one.

When awarding XP for opponents, does the game calculate the Effective Party Level using the Effective Character Level when you have Drow/Aasimar etc. or is it based on the actual level? I saw a comment in a thread somewhere that the game "didn't" count the ECL and used the actual level.

Just wondering if anyone knew for certain.

The normal level is used for the calculation. A deep gnome level 10 fighter is considered a level 10 character just like a level 10 human for example.
