Anyone have a netbook with Win7 Starter?

I need to get a netbook for my upcoming professional job! I'm going to be a yuppie! Yay me!

The thing is, everything's basically got Windows 7 Starter on it (well, the ones in my price range). I read somewhere that you can't run more than two programs at a time, can't change the wallpaper, and a bunch of other crappy stuff. I was going to use Ubuntu's cool netbook o/s if W7S is really too restrictive, but I'd really like to use Office instead of Google Docs (no, I'm not going to try Wine on a system with a cpu < 2 ghz and only 1 gb of ram!).

So, does anyone have any experience with W7S?

I'm actually on it right now! It's a lenovo x100e. A little bigger than a netbook but pretty comparable specs wise. It's faster than I thought. Definitely really nice. The only thing that's kind of annoying is the Fn key to the left of the left Ctrl key that I always accidentally hit.

Just thought I should post this in case anyone was wondering about Ubuntu's netbook o/s...

I downloaded it to a USB drive last night and popped it in (if you don't know, you can run the o/s straight from the USB to try before you install). I used it for about 30 minutes and experienced around 7 or 8 program crashes. Given the way Linux is constructed the crashes didn't bring down the whole system... but still. Also, it was actually slower than win7! It looks really nice though.
