I have more items than allowed capacity - bug?

Hello,
I have a weird bug with my Dragon Age Origins install where the "Item Capacity" is 70, but the number of items I currently have in there is 76. How is that possible?

I just started playing DAO, in Ostagar just finished my joining ritual. Right before the ritual, I had 68 items. After the ritual, I had 76 items...as far as I call tell, the cut scene only gave me 1 item, the amulet with the darkspawn blood in it?

I'm wondering if one of the mods I installed might have allowed me to go above the limit? My concern is I'm not sure what the actual limit is, so I'm playing blind a bit.

My install:
Windows XP
Dragon Age Origins 1.04
Dragon Age Awakening (but I haven't played it yet)
Several DLC's (stone prisoner, Walden's Keep, ...)
Mods: larger font mod, camp storage chest mod (haven't arrived at camp scene yet, so don't know if that's working), advanced tactics mod.

I also have this weird bug where my main character (a mage) has an extra spell chain in one of the schools, but the chain is a duplication of the chain above it, and it only has 1 spell instead of 4 in the chain. The other 3 spells in the chain are blank.

If any of these two weird bugs sound familiar, let me know. Should I be concerned?

Thanks.

You also get all the weapons and armor of Sir R.. something.. and the rogue.

You get all items from Sir Jory and Daveth. I guess the cutscene does not check how many items you do have before it happens. I'd advise purchasing a backpack before talking to Duncan again. They're really cheap in Ostagar and you can get two(one before The Joining and one after).

In two places are Two backpacks available from one merchant. Ostagar and the Party Camp.

Highlight to read the following
Spoiler
spoilers

The first of them is available begining after Duncan tells you to explore the camp and find Alistair.
THe second one is available (assuming the first was purchased) from the same merchant after returning from the Kocari Wilds. Both are lost once you approach the Strategy meeting with the king.

The Second set of two is available (and A LOT more expensive) upon exiting Lothering. This is a special campsite, and Bodahn has a backpack. This is lost once you leave the campsite. Bodahn will then reset his stock, and have another backpack.
Side note: the MAXIMUM storage space is 125 in an un-modded game.
