arcane warriors still powerful?
Used to be a very imposing class early on. How is it now?

The same.. and the Dodge bonus from Fade Shroud stacks with the dodge bonus from Awakening's Fade Shroud + Arcane Shield.
A Blood Mage's Blood Wound is however still the most powerful effect.

Does Spell Wisp affect melee damage? I am not seeing it.

It does not, not directly at least, since your melee damage is based on your weapon and your magic attribute. Spell Whisp will however affect your sustained offensive and defensive spells. However, if you were to use Flaming Weapon, Spell Whisp would increase the damage that it would add to your melee attacks.
