DA 2, benefit of not importing the choices. (spoilers)

I read that Bioware created three premade backgrounds for Dragon Age 2. A dwarven noble sacrificed Loghain to defeat the archdemon. Morrigan's child doesn't exist and the world is presumably safer because of that.
My three characters (an elven mage,a dalish elf, and prince Cousland) didn't want to die for the Grey Wardens so they convinced Alistair/Loghain to sleep with Morrigan (without metagaming they couldn't know that Alistair/Loghain would deal the blow).
Additionally, all of them accomplished something, but they remained tainted and made compromises.
Since it's not their story anymore maybe instead of choosing between them it is better to use a premade character?

Aside from the Child, there are OTHER choices that may pass on to DA 2.

Some examples:

Who is the King of Orzammar?

Is the Circle still led by Irving & Greagoir?

What happened to the Werewolves?

What of the Urn of Sacred Ashes?

What about Flemeth? (she will appear in DA 2, but you have the option of "killing" her in Origins)

There are others, but you get the idea.

I chose Harrowmont only because Bhelen killed his own family.
The elves chose Alistair only because he seemed better for their race.
Cousland killed the dragon but the elves didn't care much about the ashes.
In some situations there are no right choices.
Also, it is not clear what would have happened to the characters if they were not conscripted. Both dwarves are apparently dead and a dalish elf is probably transformed or dead, but the rest of them could have survived.

Mage Origin likely happens regardless of PC (otherwise, how could Jowan break his Phylactery?)

City Elf is likely Dead, either to Plague, Vaughan, or guards. Or possibly enslaved.

Dalish Elf dies. Confirmed in Witch Hunt.

Dwarf Commoner is likely dead, but (if banished, as DN) there are more exits to the surface than the front doors of Orzammar. Dwarf Noble May have found one, as well. A note shows that Harromont was asked to go looking for the DN.

Human Noble: Fergus survives (confirmed in Awakening). Theoretically, so could the Younger one. Or there could not have Been a younger one. OR the younger one died.

As for My choices: I don't kill the Dragon that guards the Urn, AND Genitivi is forced back to Denerim.
I save the Mages, destroyed the Anvil, Ended the Curse without personally killing the Lady. Alistair & Bhelen become Kings. (I think Bhelen the better choice, as Harrowmont will all but destroy Orzammar).

As for the Archdemon, all but City Elf take Morrigan up on her offer. Kalliana, the City Elf (I ALWAYS play this origin Female) leaves Alistair at the gate. Death.
