Hi,

I'm in Chapter 5 in Dragon's Eye Level 3, and I can't get to the lever/switch just past Sseth's Eye Arch which is supposed to raise the bridge to the south.

Walkthroughs I've checked have said that I must use the Hitachi potion to turn one of my team into a Hitachi, then he/she will not run away from the Arch's influence and he/she can approach the Arch. I've tried using the Hitachi potion on a few of my humans, and it does turn them into Hitachi, but they are hostile and I can't control them to make them go to the arch.

Can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I really want to finish it this time!

You have to use a secret passage to the west, then move north, north-east until you find a room that you cannot enter.

You need a special potion to turn one of your characters into one of those mindless yellow thingies, otherwise you cannot go through. You can aqcuire the potion by doing a few quests for the mage prisoner back on level one.

Thanks for the reply Stworca, but did you see my spoilered text? I've tried using the potion, but my teammate is uncontrollable as a Hitachi, so I can't make him go to the arch while transformed.

I wonder if it is possible I've run into a bug?

I did not.. You didn't warn there are spoilers ahead

You have to turn your Hitachi potion (the one that turns them hostile) into a distilled one at the forge with many chains and the neutral snake-alchemist. Level two. I don't remember the exact details.
