abnormal program termination - icewind dale 1

I googled and used the search form here but did not find a solution.
Icewind Dale keeps crashing with the runtime error message after the appearance button with the message:
Runtime Error!
Problem: *path*
abnormal Program termination
It works just installed vanilla but crashes with HOW no matter if patched or not, no matter if patched with normal or luremaster patch.
I run a notebook: Intel Core i3-350M, 2,2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, ATI HD 545V, Win 7 64bit, newest driver, dx 9.0c and 10.
Sadly I cannot test it on a second system since my DVD is that much scratched that the XP-notebook just won't read it.
IWD worked for me on my old XP-desktop. i read that this error message occured since 2003 and also on the BG-games.
I run BG I vanilla and BG II heavily modded just fine.
Maybe you heard of that and have a quick solution for it?
I already tried admin, config and compatibility modes with no or even worse results.
Sorry if something is not completely clear, I'm no mother tongue. Ask me. But I think, the problem is maybe known and I just did not find the proper solution for it.
Thanks to all you people!
