Surprisingly Easy Final Battle *Spoiler*

I don't know if anyone cares, but I thought I'd share anyways.

I beat Sarevok and his friends last night in one attempt without using any wands, cloudkill, charm, summoning or cheese. Nobody in my party even died. Here's how:

I sneaked Coran and went up to backstab Sarevok, but it just initialized dialog and caused Semaj and Angelo to teleport. I decided to move Coran behind Semaj instead. Edwin and Imoen then cast magic missile on Semaj to get rid of mirror image and Coran stabbed him in the back. He quickly died after that without getting many spells off.
In this time Angelo was still casting spells so I set everyone to attack him while Coran distracted Tazok. He died before ever getting an arrow of detonation off. Tazok was then a piece of cake. The combat then stopped since none of my characters go into sight of Serevok. I saved and healed a bit.
I decided re-buffing or resting would be cheating so I decided to fight Sarevok right away. Again I let Kaigan take the hits while I dispelled his haste and hit him with everything I had left. With Kaigan one swing away from death, Sarevok died.

I don't know if Sarevok's behavior is always like this, or if this is a bug/side effect of Tutu. If it is normal I highly recommend it! Without magic flying around Tazok and Sarevok are easy with three fighter types (in my case Kaigan, Coran, Kensai protagonist) and some magic missiles from Imoen and Edwin. Brawen was fairly useless other than buffing and healing.

This is not how it's supposed to go.

I can confirm that this must be a bug.

Interesting, I should probably tell the Tutu people. But I wonder... if the protagonist as a thief, got behind Sarevok and showed himself to initiate dialog, then used a potion of invisibility as Sarevok goes after him, would it achieve the same effect? Or would Sarevok attack the visible characters outside his line of sight?

If it was BG2, he would attack any party member that is on the map, even if he's out of his visual range.

I'm not sure if BG1 has the same aggro mechanic, but he wouldn't just let his friends die for sure. You attack one, all jump in at once

This might be obvious but may be worth asking, Have you installed ToSC and then subsequently installed the ToSC patch?
