How too use cheats on SWKotOR 2?

Okay a friend of mine gave me a copy of KotOR 1 and 2 for the computer and I decided I would play it even though I played them on the xbox a long time ago and beat them but I would mess around a little. Well I was able too use cheats on the first game but for KotOR 2 I did everything that I was suppose too on the first one but I still can't. Does anyone either have the same problem or knows what I'm doing wrong?

On KOTOR 2 the cheat console doesn't appear so you have to type in blind. If it is for messing with stats and abilities you would be better off downloading the Savegame editor.
