Neverwinter Nights 2 - Everything about it, except one Neeshka moment. Maybe.
TES4 : Oblivion - Pathetic. Each prequel was much better in every way possible, except graphics.
If Expansions can also be listed :
Dragon Age : Awakening - Just no.

1. Neverwinter Nights 2
2. Neverwinter Nights 2*
3. Daggerfall (Out of the box it was broken so badly completing the game was impossible. I actually got it for free as a throw in because the shopkeeper was so desperate to get rid of it there had been so many returns. I was one of the fortunate few who had internet connection back then)
4. MegaTraveller 1 - The Zhodani Conspiracy
5. KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords (or as it should have been called The Smerf Lords)
Apart from underlining just how bad NWN2 was, I just couldn't think of a game that warranted second place. However if the judgement was being made on it's aptness for being called an RPG Fallout 3 would take 2nd. I'm enjoying the game a lot, but to call it an RPG is an outright lie.

Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader - started out good, up until you finished New Barcelona, then it just nosedived.
NWN2 - But only the original campaign, MOTB was a big step up
DA:O - I'm probably a tiny minority in this opinion, but hell it just didn't do it for me. Like Lionheart it started awesome with Origins, but went downhill after Ostagar.

It was a candidate for me too, but it did have some redeeming features, enough for me to have actually finished it anyway.

It had it's moments. NWN2 had no moments.

NWN2 OC - Just dreadful. Although I enjoyed the trial and killing that annoying stupid bitch Elanee. Bishop and Sand were the only characters I liked, Khelgar and Neeshka were OK. MotB is however the best RPG of the last 5 years or more, it was fantastic.
Oblivion was a fairly big disappointment, seeing as how awesome Morrowind was.
I would have listed the Diablo games here but they really aren't RPGs...

I second Lionheart. It started so great, even if the whole alternative history thing was pushed quite far (Da Vinci, Shakespeare, Columbus and Galileo all crammed up in a 'city' few houses big, and Barcelona no less) but the possibility of joining the inquisition while potentially being one of their targets was really great, for example. Then suddenly it just became pure hack and slash. Boring, annoying hack and slash.
Haven't played NWN2, but NWN1 was no great discovery either. Enter area, kill all the mobs, pick up loot, take everything that cannot be sold back to quest giver. Repeat.

The Trial I think is the best demonstration of why NWN2 OC failed so bad. Because no matter the outcome of the trial you end up with the exact same result. So while in itself it was fun, at the end it was really meaningless.
The only slightly redeeming quality of NWN2 was Ammon Jerro. But then I'm always a sucker for the evil guy who is really just doing all they can to fight an even more evil guy.

Good point. I enjoyed the trial but as you said in the end it was meaningless. And not to mention the ridiculous verdict-by-duel, that was such a WTF? moment.

I know that was upsetting with Oblivion.
Diablo was sucky but had cool art, like my avatar.

1. Neverwinter Nights I - talk about a massive let-down after BG2. Tedious in all respects, I've never managed to finish it
(haven't bothered with the second game, though I may try MoTB sometime)
2. Fable - played it for about an hour (yes, I know.. not a huge chance
) and just couldn't take it seriously.. it was just so vapid, sad and childish
3. Oblivion - heavily modded it's a tolerable game, sometimes even a good game, but installing the mods and making them run smoothly is a perennial headache. Besides, you shouldn't
*need* to install mods simply to make a game playable.
I did, however, enjoy Shivering Isles. In my view the expansion was a hint of what could have been.

Trust me when i say, that NWN1 was a world-shaping phenomenon when compared to it's sequel.

Planescape Torment, since pointing out NWN2 again would just be redundant.
Before I am to crawl underneath this here chair, fully I will explain why this is the case. I have a a single PS:T game running that I've been playing a little bit every few months for the past two or three years. When I do feel like getting back to it, I usually don't remember what I was doing.
As the minutes progress, my hands slowly start moving slower and slower. My metabolism lowers too. After about five minutes my hands are pretty cold to the touch. Ten to fifteen minutes later the cold has spread through my entire body. After maybe 45 minutes of mucking around in Sigil, I will have remembered what I was doing again. By this time I am absolutely freezing, but not shivering; and therin lies the key.
I get so concentrated that metabolism simply stops taking place. There is little doubt about it; if I don't interrupt for a long, hot shower, I will die from hypothermia. And RPGs that kill you are the worst RPGs in my book.

Well, NWN 1 and 2 were both clear fat disappointments. Mask of Betrayal Expansion Pack was IMHO better.

Fallout is a pretty decent game to me, even though I didn't manage to finish it.
As for the worst RPGs I've played, I only have one, and it is Prince of Qin. Bad graphics for a 2D game and it's repetitive.

- Oblivion: The game was getting worse and worse since the moment the king died at the beginning.
"Yo, prisoner! Why is the king dead? Who killed him?"
"I don't know, some random guy..."
"Oh, right then. I see you have the amulet."
"Yeah, thew king gave it to me."
"Right then, everything is in order. You can leave this place from there"
And do I have to mention the level scaling?
- Hellgate: London
Poor clone of Diablo, turned in FPS/3rd person shooter. Terrible voice acting and stupid story.
- Cabal: Online
Just bad. Enough said.
- Battle of Immortals
I consider the hours I spent playing this game as waste, anything else could have been more productive than playing this. If you are really desperate for free MMO there are dozens of better games.

-Menzoberranzan
-Al Quadim the Genie's Curse
-Lands of Lore 2 & 3
-Oblivion

The problem with the worst RPG's is that I don't play them enough to remember them. I might finish the demo, but by and large they just get deleted and forgotten.
I do have some that I actually bought and never finished. Soulbringer and Dungeon Lords were too damn hard and too boring for me to try to hone my skill at them. Maybe they open up eventually and develop into wonderful games, but everytime I install them and give them another chance, I end up hating them all over again.
Prince of Qin and Siege of Avalon I have started but never finished because of general boredom in the opening acts. They will probably get another chance some day.
I was gifted Fallout 1 and 2 but have no intention of ever playing them because 1) I despise the post-apocalyptic future-tech sci-fi milieu and 2) turn-based combat.
