@Buck: Thanks for the info - I feared it was "purchase-only", but I wasn't sure.
I've found plenty of free things on the net, and I hoped that this was one of these.
But it sounds great that you'd post some info from it - but will that not also be violating copywrite?
But what I'm most interested in is character-generation rules in 3E rules - because of upcomming NWN

well, all the power to you, and your idea. Let's hope it works! Just one the topic, of AD&D, isn't there a program where you can roll dice online? If so, maybe using those rules, we could have our own little AD&D sessions?

AIM lets you roll dice (//roll-dice1-sides100) in chat sessions.

Maybe all this is something to look more heavily into. Both Craigs Spamrampage, and the Aim stuff.

It will look confusing
All AIM gives you is the option to use dice, the rules on how they are used is up to you.
From the post above...The rules they made allows dice rolls of the size of armies.
300 men will be a 300 sided dice
against
500 men (which will be a 500 sided dice)
Each side rolls a 20 sided dice to see who get the first roll in battle.
Say the 300 person rolls high and win first shot.
300dice rolls a 75
next
500-75=425dice rolls a 100
next
300-100=200dice rolls a 25
next
425-25=400dice rolls a 50
next
200-50=150dice rolls a 100
next
400-100=300dice rolls a 150
next
150-150=defeat
The person with the 300 soldiers at the beginning lost.
The person with 500 soldiers is the winner, but lost 200 of his soldiers.

Well, the way Weasel puts it, it makes sense.

Yes... hmm... But how often does one really roll a d100? Unless my D&D games are low-key compared to everyone else's.
