Question about "un-nerf"-changes in the tweak pack

Just to clarify what I meant by the title, I'm referring to the rule changes in the BG2 Tweak pack. Basically I'd just like to know if these changes are made only for the protagonist and other joinable npc's, or whether these changes also apply to the monsters, making them more difficult?

Now that I read through my post again I realized how vague it is, and my poorly chosen topic doesn't help so I'll try again.
What I'd like to know is that if I install one of the rule changes that are available in the tweak pack, like the Un-Nerfed THAC0 Table, Alter Mage Spell Progression Table or True Grandmastery, will these mods affect just the playable characters or all the npcs in the game? Also, do these mods make the game much easier? Furthermore, are there any known compatibility issues with these mods when it comes to tactics or ascension?

I'm not 100 % sure, but since i've done my share of modding and understand the basics of the engine :
THAC0 tables and True grandmastery affect everyone.
Spell progression table only affect the party. Enemy priests, mages, druids etc. WILL have more spell slots, but these will remain unused.
Also, do these mods make the game much easier?
I'd say that they help quite a bit.
Furthermore, are there any known compatibility issues with these mods when it comes to tactics or ascension?
No issues at all.
