Fallout 1, running over and getting captured by the Super Mutants and running back after finishing, it is I think 10K XP... I remember it was insane... Until you are almost out of time and need to get them their water chip.

Fallout 2... Getting the Power armor immediately after leaving the village... and going down to San Fransisco, pick pocketing the guards and sellling their gear, to buy skill books, and then pick pocketting the merchant to get "YOUR" money back...

I wouldn't call any of these "cheats".

They are fundamentally part of the game. In essence they are "exploits".

There are also "obstacles" imposed on these exploits as well, so it's not a matter of simplicity or ease.

I'm currently playing Fallout 2 and have just finished the Arroyo to San Fran to Navarro to San Fran to Kalamath - and it was anything but easy. :D As a low level character I had a very poor "outdoorsmen" skill and was constantly being hounded by various hostiles.. almost 2 "fights" per grid. :speech: ..And I don't know just how many grids from the Arroyo to San Fran, but certainly a HELL OF A LOT. :D

It's a damn good thing my Agility was at 10, because without it would have been nearly impossible. Every time I'd get a "lightening bolt" encouter signal on the map I'd think: 'RUN Forest! RUN!'
