Hey everyone, i know that this is a bit stupid question, but does stick do extra damage to vampires? Or i have to use it in some way to stick it into the vampire's heart? Since there is a heart shield in the game i thought that it may be used to prevent the enemy from using the sticks, but does it just reduce the damage of the sticks?

You mean stakes? I'm not sure, I just started playing Vampire: TM - Redemption myself and I don't use the stakes because of their low damage 5(Lethal) I did just get to the 2nd half of the game with the humans that use stakes on you and to be honest they do hardly any damage to me. Maybe it might do massive damage if a stake were to to do a critical hit, but I've not had that happen one way or another.

Edit: I just used a stake on a Tzimisce in the Vysehrad Castle and the stake did stun it.

First of all, thanks for your reply! I did realized myself that stakes stun stun vampires for a long period of time... but it still doesn't worth it...

This little gimmick had me confused too. It never really seems to work unless others are using it. Best use I can think of: stake guns, later in the game.
