HoW bug

I'm playing the Icewind Dale complete digital copy from GoG. I just started HoW and I keep running into this issue where I try to talk to an NPC and nothing happens. I'll keep clicking on them and nothing. I usually have to quit the game and reload and that usually fixes it. From there it will work for a little bit before I run into another NPC that I can't talk to. Very wierd. Anyone have this issue?
