I've looked through tons of posts in the forum. Of course I could make my own experience with a type of character, just like the one stated in the topic title, but I wanted to hear what your thoughts are on this subject?
What is the strongest dual wielding character with the maximúm damage dealt?

Depends what you are going for. As in, what class specifically?
Rangers, Fighters, and Barbarians are the best classes for dual-weilding, but thieves also can have proficiancy in it.
Personally, I like using a dual-weilding stalker. (I like the backstab)
I honestly dont know the damage, I'll have to get back to you on that one.

Maximum damage dealt would have to be a Kensai with Crom and FoA no? Don't know if that is the strongest though (no armor).

You could always dual class with a thief and take the high level thief ability to use any item. This allows the kensai fighter/thief to use full plate. Whether or not you believe that should be acceptable is another thing...

Kensai dualed to Mage at level 13 is he strongest DW character imho utilizing Stoneskins, Imp. Haste, Tensers and Mirror Image for extremely high survivbility giving the name "flying rotorblades" a new meaning!
Also one of the lamest and most overused builds though.
Weapons are debatable. Crom is always a good choice, but so is FoA, Celestial Fury, Belm, Axe of the Unyielding, Foebane, etc.

I deem Blade superior in AC with Defensive Spin but I doubt they can compare to a 13 Kensai with 5 Stars in their preferred weapon and with patch for true Grandmastery can have 4 1/2 APR, 9 with Imp Haste, Kai and bonus hit/damage offence wise and don't forget Kai ability for maximum damage for iirc 2 rounds.
Also their THAC0 is significantly lower a long time in the game.
A Blade needs a weapon like Kundane/Belm and Offensive Spin active to come even close to 4 1/2 attacks but still lacks the specialization boni of +3 hit and especially +5 damage and with 4 attacks thats 20 more damage per round.
THAC0 can be compensated with TT but then the Blade cannot use spells making him much less versatile.
Also Blade has significantly less HP.
Kensai 13 with 18 Con can have up to 9*14 + 4*3 HP + 7*1. Meaning a maximum HP pool around 145 HP at level 20.
Blade on the other hand with 16 Con can get about 10*8+ x*2 Hitpoints, meaning something around 100 HP at level 20.
Both can have the familiar so that evens that out, same goes for TT.
Not sure with the Kensai/Mage but afaik you do not get any HP bonus while your first class is inactive, right? If not then it's even more in favour of the kensai/mage.
The difference will dimnish at highest levels region but that's near the end of ToB.
Mind you I deem Blade to be one of the strongest single classes.
But some dual classes/multi classes just cannot be really beaten imho if all you care about is raw power.
Of course dual class has a significant drawback dualing at 13, you need much more than 1 million experience to reactivate your figher abilities. If you do not plan this carefully you are a liability for your party a very long time. Of course you can dual earlier but then you diminsh the fightning abilities a lot.
The only ability I can think of which can even the odds is UAI but I am not sure how this would help.

That ignores the fact that for all the time the K/M is just a mage the Blade is a far superior fighter.
I am prejudiced by the fact that I think a dual classing Kensai is an abomination; allowing a Kensai to DC into anything was a major glitch that destroyed the ethos of a Kensai.

True, imho Kits should have been never allowed to dual class like it's not allowed to dual class into them.

It's not so much the kit aspect, although that's a valid point; it's that a kensai is supposed to dedicate his or her life to the blade. One should never sway from that dedication without losing all benefits; or maybe I'm just too strict as a DM.

I think the same but also being able to dual class into mage nullifies the biggest trade off the Kensai has to compensate for his vastly superior offence compared to a regular fighter: defence.
I do not mind if you can somewhat compensate for a weakness but a Kensai/Mage simply gets the best of two worlds.
Blade needs imho more micro and more tactics compared to Kensai/Mage. Kensai/Mage is just Stoneskin/Mirror and hack away if your gear is decent. If things get hairy you still have all those cheesy spells like Time Stop, Simul, Chain Contingency, Spell Trigger, etc. but that's at best needed in really tough fights.
Blade needs a bit more to get similar results and due to lower HP and no access to the really high spell levels has a harder time in mage heavy fights. Againt cannon fodder well it doesn't really matter, a normal mage abusing MMM and Imp Haste can obliterate cannone fodder too. Heck MImp. Haste isn't even needed.
Blade has one nice advantage though, better at using Dispel Magic/Remove Magic due to his incredibly high caster level.
I'm just glad a Kensai cannot dual to Sorc. That'd be totally ridiculous.
