From witcher 2

How do you keep swords and equipment from witcher 1 to witcher 2? + How do I drink potions, the old game it was one click and done so what's the scoop? Thanks in advance for your help!
When you start a new game the "import The Witcher" saves should be available if such a save is available, right after you click "new game".
Potions can be used only from the meditate screen, which you can enter by pressing Ctrl.
