I'd like to play BG2 on my laptop without swapping CDs. (Yes, I've done the full install)

Is there a semi-recent patch for this? My Google results turned up threads from 2002 and 2004. I want to make sure I don't crash the game and need to re-install.

What you need is either :

- A no-cd crack (i'm not sure if it's 100% legal to use them, but everyone does so anyway)
- A burned image of all CD's and daemon tools.

Huh. You have to swap CDs?

I have BG2 and ToB installed on my laptop since 2005 and it's never needed anything but the ToB disc...

agreed, I´m having it the same way, but without ToB it seems that Stworca is right
