Hi, everyone. I just bought Baldur's Gate 2 off of GOG, and it took over 15 hours to install. It's finally done, but when I open 'setup_baldurs_gate_2' I get: Cannot Open file setup_baldurs_gate_2-1.bin. And when I open that I get:

No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "undf". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.

Does anybody know how to fix this? Please help!!! :(

searched for:"VLC does not support the audio or video format undf" baldurs gate 2 on google

You need to download all three files (two .bin files and an .exe) and have them in the same folder. Then run setup.exe to install.

From the error you posted it seems like you're not running the .exe to start the installer.

If I already have the files, can I just copy and paste them? And do they need to be in a folder that doesn't have anything in it? Sorry, I'm not really good with computers.

Should be just running the .exe with all files in the same directory, nothing else.

I don't know, the same thing keeps happening.. Do you reccomend putting them in a certain directory?

hey fre2e :) Good to see u here again :D

Not sure if that has to do with Windows 7, but try this. I myself use Windows Vista, which also gets unusual errors that Window XP never does.
Classic games aren't meant for Vistas and 7, and I know it sucks.

Just download Daemon tools lite, or just google Daemon. Bin is an image file that needs to be unextracted, but not by Winzip :) Once you get the Daemon, click on virtual CD Rom, then Device (should be more than 1 device), and simply mount the image. Click the bin file and mount it. Now either click on the Mount/device manager, or go to "my computer". You will see BG2 is installed.

It's best advised that you find this instruction from google, which shows proper illustration. It's kinda hard to understand what I just typed above, because Daemon tool displays a button with picture, not with a letter, unless u put mouse cursor on it and wait till it shows the description.
