The Bards Tale nes vs pc

Im just wondering if theres much of a difference between these 2 platforms for this game? i have the NES version so id prefer to play that instead of trying to find a pc version and trying to get it to work

Most people started their Bard's Tale experience with this version. Well a small stain of all the bit homecomputer versions. The sound is acceptable for an early C64 game..
