Are you using a patch? Have you listened to game sound files with a media player?

Well, problem fixed. I unsintalled the game and deleted any remaining files, and did a clean install, then applied the 7.6 patch. And, maybe I'm going crazy, but, what happened to the "skip intro" option? I hope I'm not over-looking it.

Bu yeah, I have listened to the game music files with a media player, would this somehow cause corruption? As I said, problem fixed now, I just want to avoid the issue in the future. Btw, at the time of the sewer crash, I was using 7.5 patch (plus version).

The option will only be there if the game finds a saved game.

Yes. Most media players, certainly the Windows Media Player, append playlist information or something else to everything they play which then causes Bloodlines to crash.

If you want to listen to the audio files of the game, copy them from the game to a new directory, or even a different drive altogether, then listen to them there. Delete those files, and you should be good to go.

A working alternative is using the free Media Player Classic!

I suppose simply not logging in as administrator would work too. Or at least it would make fixing it easy ...
