I got some maps from different people but not all of the locations are found on the worldmap.
How can I get there?

I think they are from the darkest day mainly.

I'm not sure how darkest day works, but for some mods you need a world-map expansion.

Sadly this is all i know.

Oh no,I read somethig about a worldmap mod which must be installed BEFORE tdd.

Do you know which other mods also need this and how to install it correctly?

Here you have a very informative thread about megamods. I'm not sure if it will answer your questions, or solve your problems, but it may.

The worldmap should be installed last according to the info that I read.
Drizzt is another case in point. I had to use the CLUA console to get to various areas.

I didn't have the same problems with the large worldmap as I did with the huge one. Even if they are marked on the map, they can be almost impossible to find on the huge map. :(

That was certainly true of the stone of Askavaar.

The area files can usually be found inside the mod folder, and then it is a matter of trial and error. (*.are) If you have done the mod before, then the bmp files of the area can help you decide which is the correct area.

CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("F_0111") would move you to area F_0111, F_ being the bit that defines the file as belonging to the Drizzt Saga for instance.

Once you know the area name replace F_0111 with the name of the area that you want.

You will not necessarily arrive where you should in that area, but it works!

Once you get into the that area, you will probably be able to do the rest without further problems, though with the Drizzt saga I had to use
MoveToArea twice.

With Stone of Askavaar, I had to use it to find out where to look on the worldmap, and then use the normal travel method.
