After changing the sound and attempting to do something a little more complex than previous years, half of the band quit because they were unable to make the transition. We're basically at a standstill right now. We need a drummer badly and a bassist and keyboardist, and I even fear that my guitarists are losing morale and are thinking of quitting. I've been trying to keep this whole project together for 4 years now and it's starting to take its toll on my health. But it's do or die. If I can't do the music I love to do, then I'd rather be dead anyway. Anyway, here's the link, people. We're from Michigan, and it seems like this state is completely devoid of capable drummers. We've been through 5 prospective drummers, and two of which blew us off.

If so, then... well, I don't like deathcore. Never been a fan of chuggachug riffs, or the whiny qualities in the vocals. For what it is it isn't bad, just needs a better production job, but then, a fan of European death metal movements and some American stuff like Suffocation/Morbid Angel/etc., I might not be the best judge. To be honest, deathcore all kind of sounds the same to my jaded "thou art not metal" ears.
Oh, and if it's not your band... disregard what I said. But not really.

I have to mostly agree with sear. My only major complaint is the guitars lack of crunch. I've always preferred the bassy downtuned sound melo-death guys use, but thats just me. I understand thats still largely a function of production (layering/symphonics) but you get what I'm saying. Its not bad, and I'm sure you'll find an audience. Its just not for me.
