I regularly check my alignment bar to see how I'm doing (I'm trying to be good). It seems to jump around a lot. I finished the twinblades quest and had 5 bars of good filled. All I did was use my experience to get some upgrades at the guild and my bar had jumped down 2 whole notches!! Do some spells give you evil points? I stayed away from berserk and dark looking ones, the only one i wasn't sure of was guile lvl 3 with the steal expression but I looked it up and couldn't find anything bad about it. Just cant understand what I did to lose all those points, seems to happen quite a bit though

Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of all the things that give evil/good points so i can stop yo-yoing?

I have never heard of anything like this happening, nor has this ever happened to me in any of my numerous playthroughs. Are you playing on Xbox or on PC? It sounds like you're experiencing a glitch rather than anything to do with actual game mechanics. Certain spells require a certain alignment to master (and offer lower purchase prices for corresponding alignments as well) but buying magic doesn't lower your alignment.

Whenever you gain evil or good points, the game tells you so. A small notice featuring a devil or an angel will flash on screen and inform you how many points you've earned. It's very easy to keep track of. If your alignment level doesn't reflect the points you've been earning-- you've got a glitched game.

Maybe you killed some traders with friendly fire?
