Gargoyle troubles...

I got this quest from Isaac, went to see Maximillian, learned that he created it, then I convinced the Gargoyle to join Isaac. I visited Maximillian to get my reward, but when I go to Isaac, I can only tell him the Gargoyle joins, not that Maximillian created it. Am I missing something? I'm using the Unofficial 7.6b patch. I can live without the 2 extra XP, but I'd really like to stick with the Anarchs.

Thanks in advance!

I suppose you should tell Isaac before going to Max and collecting his reward. But such an indiscretion would undoubtedly damage your relation with Max...

No problem with getting on his bad side. Guess I'll have to go to an earlier save then.

Strange. Are you are Tremere? Because you can't do that otherwise you would loose your new haven.

No, I'm a Malkavian. The e-mail alert I got about this thread had you posting something about a "Plaque" quest? Do you mean Plague for the Angels? I finished that a long time ago.

I can select "3. I got something I won't tell...maybe." with Isaac, and then "1. First the stone, then the secret..." But doing that simply quits the conversation. Mentioning that the Gargoyle is now Isaac's ally just completes the quest, without an option to rat out Max.

Can you please type in the console G.Gargoyle_Convinced and post the result (case is important)?

Well, apparently, I had to first go "First the stone...", then tell him the Gargoyle joined him, then tell "I know something I won't tell...maybe", then I could tell him Max created it. Not very obvious. Maybe because I'm Malkavian.

Thanks for the help, Wesp.
