No quest compas?

I just noticed in a video that there is a spell called divination in Skyrim which, in true Donnie Darko fashion, shows you the quickest path to your next objective. Does that mean the quest compass has been removed and true, freeform exploration has become an artform again? I certainly hope so.
If you think you've seen otherwise in a screenshot, interview or video, please let me know. I am very curious about this.
// Off topic: // Disregarding the many fans that are, I'm sure, extremely upset about all sorts of details regarding Skyrim, I am personally kind of liking the number of things they are finally doing right in this game. It's just a shame that it took them two games to reach that point.
