No quest compas?

I just noticed in a video that there is a spell called divination in Skyrim which, in true Donnie Darko fashion, shows you the quickest path to your next objective. Does that mean the quest compass has been removed and true, freeform exploration has become an artform again? I certainly hope so. ;)

If you think you've seen otherwise in a screenshot, interview or video, please let me know. I am very curious about this.

// Off topic: // Disregarding the many fans that are, I'm sure, extremely upset about all sorts of details regarding Skyrim, I am personally kind of liking the number of things they are finally doing right in this game. It's just a shame that it took them two games to reach that point.

NO quest compass? No holding the hand at every step?

Praise be to Krishna!

I think it is still a bit too early to recite passages of the Torah in an exhilarated fashion, but so far I must it admit things are looking pretty madhim.

I found a different version of the same video, but with developer commentary. It is implied to function as a navigational aid in complex dungeons. Nothing is said about whether the skills works outside of dungeons though. Unfortunately, upon inspecting a few more screenshots I did find what seemed to be a compass of some sort, with something highlighted on it. Whether it will function the same as it did in Fallout 3 / Oblivion.. who knows.

It doesn't really matter to me, I was going to wait a year or so for the mod community to fix things up anyway.
