Does any one have any tips how to kill the Kayran as I don't get far and its over...thanks

Craft some Kayran traps before the battle, but if you do not have any, just use Yrden, wait for its tentacle to get caught in it, then whack it with strong attacks. Repeat for the other 3. As for its tentacles, if it targets a particular spot where you're standing on, quickly roll away twice.

After the tentacles are loped off, then wait for an on-screen prompt to commence the quick-time cinematic attack sequence. Afterwards, when it starts throwing rubble at you, use the pillars for cover as you make your way to a broken structure leaning conveniently next to its head. Use Quen to make your way through that structure.

what is the level of difficulty you play?
do you want to know where to get the traps?
did you best the beast?

After about the 12th try, I succeeded in cutting off the 4 tenticles. There was no cut sceen and the Kayran was at about 25% health. I can ride his tenticles but it doesn't do any harm to him. Eventually my poison immunity wears out and I die. How do I kill this thing?

I have the same problem with the kayran, I'm at the point where I cut off all the tentacles, after that when the sweeping attack starts and I have to left click rapidely, the bar fills in but nothings happens, I just fell off! I tried several times but it's always the same! anyone have any idea? could it be a gamebug???


P.S: I watched a videoed walkthrough and when the bars fills in to the max it disapears and you have just to wait few second 'til it asks you to hit the bar space but it never happens to me I just fall off the tentacle?

This may not be v. helpful, but it is v. important. Are you patched to v2.1?

already figured it out!
so for those who hasthe same problem this what to do! before launching the game change the graphic to low,and change the input to a key in the keyboard this way instead of cliking you have to puch a button after youdefeat the kayran just put the settings to default!
