I have recently started playing this game and have really enjoyed it. However I now find myself snagged by a possible bug.
This is the stage I am at. Completed the Rebel quest in V13, Completed Rad-scorps and saved the girl in Shady, Cleared V15 of everything I could, Killed all Raiders in the camp and taken everything there.....
Now this is my problem ( I have Ian as a henchman btw).
When entering Junk Town many of the peasant NPCs have the option to interact but don't seem to do anything at all. I am unable to interact with Killian or his store tables (same as the peasants, the option comes up to speak but when clicking as usual I am unable to get any response/dialogue). Also when moving to the area north of the Hotel the game crashes and so I can't complete alot of the Junk Town content.
I have been running the game with Patch 1.3.5 and the NPC mod on Windows XP 64 bit using the compatibility tool (Win 95 / 246 colours / 640x480 resolution options). I have tried various combinations of this to see if this helps (for the black screen crash, no error message comes up but have to close it all using Task Manager), including setting my screen to lowest res and 16 bit and rebooting with nothing in startup (via msconfig) but still the same problem persists.
I could try another reinstall but it's getting boring getting to this point again to find the same bug/probem.
Any ideas or people with a similar problem with Killian?
