A horse for a companion?

My current companion is Lidya and I was wondering if I could buy a horse for her. I feel kind of bad for the poor girl running after me while I'm riding.

I don't ever use the companions I prefer to sneak around and shoot arrows at peoples heads.
one hit kills are my thing and I want all the glory of the kill to myself.
in all seriousness the down side to having someone help you is you will not get ALL the potential XP.
