Launcher Issue

Looks like Steam updated Skyrim today to make sure that everybody plays it through Steam, but unfortunately the "patch" breaks the launcher for some people, and the only thing the launcher launches is the launcher.
To fix this, go to Skyrim's page on your Steam client, right click on the title, choose properties, go to the local files tab, and select "verify integrity of game cache." This should re-download the Skyrim executable so the game starts up properly again.
