javascript problem

Trying to access the main page of the site just gives me the top GameBanshee banner, menu and the top banner ad. All of the news on the main page is missing. If I disable javascript in firefox everything comes up normal except, of course, the javascript stuff on the site doesn't work. This is a pain especially when wanting to view news items I have to turn javascript off and then if I want to see any comments I have to turn it back on, refresh the page and lose the news item in the process. Also when accessing the forum with javascript the right hand side of the threads get chopped off despite there being lots of blank space there but at least the topics and posts show up there.

I'm using java 6-29 and tried adding the 64 bit version and tried installing java 7. I've also tried going back to java 6-25 but have had no luck.

I don't think its firefox 8.0 as I get the same issue with internet explorer 8 when I try it.

This only started maybe two or three weeks ago and I can't pinpoint anything else that might have changed.

Can anyone shed some light on the problem?

I have been having the same issue where I just see the top banner. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

As I noted elsewhere, faulty ad scripts are to blame, and we can't fix it on our side, sadly. They've been reported and our host should pull them soon. Hopefully.
