I killed the Chromatic Demon but after I agreed to help it and now I cannot open the portal!!! I cannot get down to lvl 3. HELP!!!

The problem is that I left Watcher's Keep to do other quests before entering lvl3 so I do not have a save game before killing the demon.

Please tell me I missed something else than the obvious i.e. do not help the demon.

Did you kill him before you freed him? You need to fight him after you do this

If not, you should have a wardstone somewhere that opens the next level. It may be that if you went through SoA you may have lost the stone fighting a Nishruu or something like that.

Is there nothing in the floor where you killed him????
